Moving Shaking

This is an awesome song from an awesome group, and is really simple to play-- great for starting out or who just loves this song. If you're playing along with the song, the tuning is fine. If you're playing it by you might want to use a capo because the key is very strange. Listen to the song a few times you sing it. A pick is not used in the song, which makes it easier to strum. All chords are strummed like so: the A and D string together, then G B e after. In all accentuate the e string. The low E is not really strummed at all. The third chord in the sequence could be either an F or an Am with the C (2nd string, fret) held down. Whichever tickles your fancy, they both fit nicely. INTRO C plays a few times C I can't write G I can't sing F C I can't play C G F C My insides have been broken C G F C My inspiration has flown away C G F C It's hard to see all the little things C G F C C G There's a universe F C In a crack in the wall C G For an ant crawling across F C A broken tile C G F C And it's hard to see all the little things C G F C When the big things get in the way C G F C C I can't eat G I can't sleep F C I can't think straight C G F C I did not know it could be like this C G F C Some things are better off being left alone C G F C There are things that are better left unknown Oh hands, Don't fail me now They're the only things I have left Oh fingers, Don't let me down, now They're the only things that aren't gone Oh world, come Come crashing down, now Oh hands, don't fail me now Oh let me become if I'm new to this Oh hands, don't fail me, now F C G I'm carrying my life in a cardboard box F C G Carrier bag on my back F C G I'm carrying my life in a cardboard box F C G Carrier bag on my back Oh hands, Don't fail me now They're the only things I have got Oh fingers, Don't let me down, now Oh hands, don't fail me now All Hell falls All down around me Oh hands, don't fail me now Oh fingers, Don't let me down, now Oh hands, don't fail me now Then there's some funny business where he changes from F - C - F - C - G or something similar. Listen to the song and try things out. Good luck, and happy playing.
